Care Instructions

Our pieces are made to last with the proper care.As with any product, in order to maintain the quality of your jewelry you must treat it with care. Here are some of our suggested care instructions on how to properly take care of your pieces:

CLEANING YOUR JEWELRY
We advise you to use a soft lint free cloth. Wipe gently with cloth to remove any dirt and skin oils.  It is not recommended to use any jewelry polishing cloths on plated jewelry as they will rub off the plating.

WHEN REMOVING
It's best to remove your jewelry first before taking your clothing off. This will help ensure that necklaces, bracelets, and earrings won’t get tangled or damaged.

AROUND CHEMICALS
Avoid contact with beauty products such as lotions, hairsprays, perfume and other cosmetics. These products can often contain chemicals that can permanently damage your jewelry. Your jewelry should be the last thing you put on when getting dressed. Bleach and other common household cleaners, can damage your jewelry .

WHEN BATHING
If possible, avoid wearing your jewelry in the bath, shower, or when washing your hands. Water, soap, and other bathing products can gradually damage your jewelry.

IN POOLS
Remove your jewelry before entering chlorinated swimming pools and hottubs.

SWEATING/EXERCISING
Avoid wearing your jewelry while working out. In addition, excessive heat while in the sauna can easily remove the natural moisture of certain gems. Pearls, for instance, can dry out, crack and discolor when exposed to this kind of heat.

STORING YOUR JEWELRY
To ensure proper storage of your jewelry, always store your items in its jewelry pouch after removing them. Keep away from hard surfaces. Tossing your jewelry into a drawer or on top of a dresser can lead to scratches and/or damaged pieces.
